I don't usually write reviews but this property and company were great! The check in/out instructions were very detailed and clear. The property was modern, decorated tastefully, well maintained and squeaky clean.. The beds were comfortable and the linens and pillows were clean and of good quality. The team made good use of the bar/ pool room in the evenings and the neighbourhood had lots of nice places to eat and get food from. Our team stayed whilst working in the area for three weeks and this house was ideal for them. I would highly recommend Acorn Home Stays and the team would happily stay again.

Great place to stay! Lovely host and beautiful home. It was very clean an spacious. Very comfy big bed! Loved the games room, pool and darts. Would 100% recommend! Less than 10mins to anything you need, shops, supermarkets etc. Perfect spot to stay!

The games room is the star of the place, we spent great time there and we had guests over that we entertained.
The garden is well maintained with good furniture.
Communication with the host was very good, she was very responsive, and really we didn’t need to ask about anything after check in as everything was well explained beforehand.

We stayed at this property for a total of 17 nights, and I must say it was among our best we have stayed in. Myself and my colleagues work all over the country quite regularly and this place was up there with the best. Very clean and tidy with everything you could need to be away from home and it still feel like home.
The games room was a brilliant extra to have and helped us get through such a long stint away from our homes.
The owners were very helpful from the moment we booked even till after check out.
We would have no issues to re book in future or pass the details onto others should the opportunity arise to be in the same area.

Our contractors stayed at this property for several weeks, it was a perfect location for the metro centre. We work all over the country and this property was ideal. The property was very clean and tidy with everything you could need when away from home. Beds were comfortable so good nights sleep ware had by all. The games room was an extra bonus to help relax after a long days work without having to go out. The owners were very helpful with the information they supplied for the property. We will 100% book again when next working in the Gateshead area.
